"Let me be perfectly honest I went into the office very pessimistic that they were going to be able to help me to lower the insurances that I currently had but I was so pleasantly surprised they helped me across the board with everything and me being on disability budget I needed prices to go down on many things because of the last 4 years of hyperinflation and cost of living adjustments never keeping up with the real rate of inflation my budget was a disaster and I needed some more wiggle room and they helped provide that. I am so grateful and thankful and will keep State farm in my prayers this Thanksgiving. Jennifer and Kandi were so very helpful."

"We have been valued customers of State Farm for years for home and auto needs. Our mother passed back in late January of 2025. In the process of cleaning out the home and getting it read for sale the home experienced water damage from an old fridge water line leak causing extensive damage to flooring and drywall on the main floor and finished basement below. State farm was responsive and helpful in filing the claim and getting the remediation team on site to prevent further damage. Once the claim was filed the help dried up. Communication was non existent via text or email from the agent or the adjuster. The policy was under our mother's name (deceased with no will). Insurance payments were still being made along with mortgage payments. State Farm claimed they needed a representative of the estate. After multiple failed attempts to file with Wayne County Probate Court to be named as representative I decided to enlist an attorney. State Farm would not work with us to pay out contractors directly for work performed. Therefore, we had to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket and I drove up from Louisville, KY taking a few weeks off of work to perform other repairs in order to move forward in getting the home ready for sale to avoid additional months of utility, mortgage payments, and taxes. State Farm would also not accept an affidavit releasing payment to siblings to help cover costs of putting the house back together. As a final step, months later, our attorney filed a petition for a judges order. The adjuster claimed this would be sufficient for pay out of the claim. Date of incident April 4th. Claim filed May 2nd. Claim reviews July 2. Structural assessment completed July 13th. After roughly 5 months the payment was finally mailed on October 9th. Taking into account fees, loss of income and time spent battling with State Farm to help us in reconciling damages to move forward with the house sale I'd estimate an additional loss close to $10k I have already canceled my personal home and auto policies with State Farm. I will not be using their services in the future."

"Hi Jason, First and foremost, we want to extend our sincere condolences for the loss of your mother. We truly understand how difficult this process must have been, and we’re sorry for the frustration you experienced during the handling of this claim. While our agency did not have direct involvement in the processing of the claim itself, please know that we did everything we could to assist and communicate on behalf of your mother’s estate. Unfortunately, there were legal requirements that had to be met before payment could be released, since the home was still listed with a mortgage and under an estate without a named representative. We did not receive the mortgage payoff notice until September 28th, which unfortunately caused an additional delay in finalizing payment. We completely understand how discouraging this felt after the difficult circumstances and the effort you put in to move things forward. We truly value you and your family’s many years with State Farm and regret that this experience has left you feeling disappointed. Please know we appreciate your feedback and the opportunity it gives us to continue improving how we support families during challenging times. Warm regards, Kandi Lambert – State Farm Agent"
